“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one.” – George R.R. Martin
These are the most important and interesting books about investing and finance,
1) The Simple Path To Wealth by JL Collins
I must say Mr Collins is a brilliant man and I like his book very much. It inspired me to start index fund investing and one thing for sure, I know my investment won’t drop to zero even though during market meltdown.
2) Millionaire Teacher: The Nine Rules of Wealth you should have learned in School by Andrew Hallam
The second book that I find very useful in index fund investing, Andrew Hallam tells a lot of interesting stories in his life that make him a better investor.
3) Quit Like A Millionaire by Kristy Shen and Bryce Leung
Kristy Shen and Bryce Leung tell their investing journey in a simple and interesting way. The way they are able to do it is by investing the Boglehead’s way. By allocating their money in stock and bond, they mitigate their investing risk and manage to retire young and travel around the World.
4) A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton G Malkiel
Certainly the very first book you should be reading if you are serious about investing. The non-brainer way of investing-the index fund solution should be the most important chapter to read and becomes your lifelong principle in investing.
4) The White Coat Investor by James M Dahle
Investment book written by physician for physicians. Useful investment book if you are serious of cutting down your student debt and achieving financial independence!
